Our client is looking to hire a labor and Employment Associate to join their New Orleans team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney looking to grow their skills and practice under the mentorship of talented partners.
The position will include:
- Working on litigation matters from start to finish, including responding to pleadings, managing discovery, taking depositions, arguing motions, and participating in mediations.
- Advising and counseling employers on day-to-day employment matters, including workplace policies and employee relations.
- Drafting and implementing workplace policies, conduct employee training sessions, and provide preventative legal advice to employers.
- Work collaboratively with other team members on complex legal issues and provide comprehensive legal support to clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm setting
- Admission to the Louisiana Bar is required
- Excellent communication, writing, and research skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
