A top Real Estate Investment Company is looking to hire a Paralegal to assist in the review, negotiation, and revision of leasing and vendor contracts, out of their San Francisco office. This will offer the chance to work directly with the Regional General Counsel for the firm, alongside a lean and talented legal team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess a strong understanding of real estate law and transactions & leasing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, assist, and negotiate documents relating to leases and licenses, landlord waivers, termination agreement, brokerage agreements, and other documentation regarding real estate law and property management
- Assist attorneys in negotiating contract terms and conditions to protect client interests.
- Revise and draft contracts based on client needs and legal requirements.
- Assist with acquisition and disposition due diligence.
- Conduct legal research and provide summaries to support contract negotiations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal, either at a law firm or in-house.
- Strong understanding of real estate laws, leasing agreements, and vendor contracts.
- Hands-on experience in drafting, negotiating and interpreting legal documents.
- Willingness to come onsite to the San Francisco office 4x per week (1x remote)
