Real Estate Paralegal
We have partnered with a reputable law firm with offices across the U.S seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support attorneys in all stages of real estate transactions, with a focus on real estate finance. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Title, Survey, and Zoning: Review title exception documents, negotiate insurance policies, prepare estoppel certificates, and coordinate survey and zoning revisions.
- Leasing: Draft leases and related documents, including consents and broker agreements.
- Organizational Documents: Review and file organizational documents, prepare consents, and coordinate with search companies.
- Loans & Transactions: Assist in preparing closing checklists, reviewing documents, drafting agreements, and coordinating with title companies.
- Closing & Post-Closing: Prepare and coordinate signing documents, manage filings, and follow up on recorded documents.
- Due Diligence: Assist with checklist calls and coordinate closing logistics.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of paralegal experience, particularly in commercial real estate and lending.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, and must meet California paralegal classification requirements.
Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience and location.
