Responsibilities:
- Advise on federal and state insurance laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the company's compliance.
- Represent the company in regulatory matters and liaise with regulatory agencies.
- Conduct internal investigations and handle regulatory inquiries.
- Provide legal support during regulatory inspections and audits.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address regulatory issues and mitigate risks.
- Prepare and submit applications for necessary licenses and permits.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active Texas Bar Admission.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance regulatory work.
- Strong understanding of insurance laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
