My client, a global Fortune 500 manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Counsel (Commercial) to join our legal team in Ohio. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial contracts and will provide expert legal advice and support to various business units within the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex legal matters
Day to Day:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements.
- Provide legal advice and support to business units on commercial transactions and other legal matters.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Manage litigation and coordinate with external counsel as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the state bar of Ohio and in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Extensive experience with commercial contracts and complex commercial transactions.
