Employment Litigation Attorney - Remote Role
We are seeking an experienced attorney to focus on employment litigation, administrative charges, and attorney demand letters in a mostly remote capacity. This position offers the opportunity to handle a variety of cases, including those covered by Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI), while collaborating with a dedicated legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing administrative charges, attorney demand letters, and single-plaintiff litigation.
- Developing case strategies, drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting depositions, and representing clients at hearings, conferences, and trials.
- Collaborating with other attorneys and legal staff, including paralegals, in a supportive and team-oriented environment.
- Handling a mix of cases, such as class actions, PAGA cases, and other labor and employment law matters.
- Maintaining a focus on efficient, high-quality legal work without business development pressures or additional non-billable hour demands.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing.
- At least 7 years of experience in employment law and litigation.
- Proven ability to manage cases independently and thrive in a remote work setting.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience handling EPLI matters.
- Background practicing at a large law firm.
- Bar admission in California or Texas.
