Associate General Counsel
A hospital and healthcare system is looking to bring on an Associate General Counsel to their legal team. As an Associate General Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in providing legal advice and counsel on a wide range of topics within the organization. Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating contracts, supporting transactions, analyzing and mitigating compliance issues, identifying new and emerging areas of risk, and conducting or overseeing legal research. You will work closely with the Chief Legal Officer to provide leadership and management to the legal team and support the compliance team.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school, with eligibility to practice in Missouri.
10+ years of experience in a corporate law firm or in-house legal environment, preferably in healthcare.
Strong skills in healthcare contract negotiation and drafting.
In-depth understanding of federal and state healthcare regulations.
