A civil engineering consulting firm in New York City is looking to bring on a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance and operations teams. This seat will report directly into the CEO and serve on the firm Board, playing a key role in shaping the strategic finance of the firm.
Title: Chief Financial Officer
Location: New York City (hybrid)
Salary: $225,000-$275,000/yr
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead FP&A for the company, including budgeting/forecasting and projection of firm financials for long-term growth
- Support and lead department heads in operations & project implementation as well as finance & accounting
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Master's and/or CPA preferred
- 12-15+ years of experience in a financial & operational role within a senior capacity
- Previous experience leading a direct team
- Must have experience within the AEC industry and familiarity with contracts relevant to complex infrastructure projects
