We are currently working with a leading regional bank looking to add a Compliance Advisor to their growing team. The Compliance Advisor will assist in overseeing various regulatory compliance programs, including consumer deposit regulations and privacy laws. This role serves as a compliance resource for multiple departments within the Bank, advising on regulatory issues related to deposit accounts, digital payments, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of policies and procedures with applicable laws.
- Review and communicate updates on new and pending regulations.
- Develop or revise compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct transactional testing and report on compliance matters.
- Participate in committees to share compliance knowledge.
- Balance regulatory requirements with the bank's interests.
- Serve as the main contact for internal and external audits.
- Provide first-line compliance guidance to business units.
- Stay updated on regulatory issues and trends.
- Assist with compliance reviews and support various business lines.
- Oversee consumer and commercial advertising compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 5+ years of compliance experience (10 preferred).
- Certification as a Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
