CLIENT BACKGROUND
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Director to join our compliance team. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing compliance programs to ensure our operations are in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Develop and enhance the compliance framework in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee the compliance monitoring and testing program to identify potential risks.
- Provide guidance and support to business units regarding compliance-related matters.
- Lead investigations into compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure compliance objectives align with business goals.
- Manage and mentor a team of compliance professionals.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to the board and senior leadership.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, law, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 13 years of experience in compliance within the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
