Job Responsibilities:
- Take part of the Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC) compliance function for the company's operations in Hong Kong.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures specific to the FICC market segments.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies related to FICC activities.
- Provide guidance and support to the business units on compliance matters, particularly with structured product knowledge like notes, commodities, OTC product etc
- Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate compliance risks within the FICC market
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments and industry trends affecting the FICC sector
- Collaborate with regional and global compliance teams to ensure consistency in compliance practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in FICC compliance, ideally with structured product knowledge like notes, commodities, OTC product etc
- In-depth knowledge of regulations governing Credit and Commodities trading in Hong Kong.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team of compliance professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a must
