Our Client is a leading global conglomerate seeking to hire Employment Counsel who will handle all legal matters concerning employment law for the U.S. headquarters and various U.S. affiliates. This person will report directly to the General Counsel, providing a high level of visibility within a multi-billion dollar company. This is a great opportunity for an English/Korean bilingual attorney to utilize their deep knowledge of Employment Law to support the U.S. division of an internationally leading conglomerate.
This role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on employment and labor law, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Offer strategic legal advice on HR matters, including policies, performance management, and internal investigations.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks, advising on compliance and proposing solutions.
- Draft and review employment-related agreements, such as non-compete and confidentiality agreements.
- Manage litigation and outside counsel, ensuring cost-effective handling of employment-related cases.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Active California bar license in good standing or registered California In-House Counsel.
- Bilingual in English/Korean.
