Located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, you will report directly to the Chief Legal Officer and oversee all matters relating to employment and labor laws.
Position: Employment Counsel
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel the People Experience Team on a variety of employee relations and compensation issues.
- Draft and negotiate employment-related contracts.
- Provide guidance on employment policies to ensure legal compliance and best practices.
- Lead HR-related investigations and provide training on harassment and discrimination prevention.
- Assist with employment-related litigation and monitor developments in labor and employment law.
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Florida or approved as Authorized House Counsel in Florida.
- 4-6 years of experience in employment and labor law.
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited institution.
