General Liability Attorney
Salary: $65,000-$190,000
Company Summary: This prestigious client is currently seeking a driven, and motivated Senior General Liability Attorney to join their nationally recognized team. This position provides an exciting opportunity for attorneys with defense litigation experience who are looking to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general liability and related areas, as well as a passion for managing complex cases from start to finish.
The General Liability Attorney Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a caseload of general liability litigation matters, overseeing cases from inception through resolution.
- Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on legal projects, ensuring high-quality work and timely delivery.
- Communicate with clients to provide regular updates and status reports on case progress.
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Participate in strategy meetings and case discussions to develop innovative approaches.
- Manage and track case deadlines, motions, and discovery processes.
The General Liability Attorney Qualifications:
- 6+ years of defense litigation experience, with a focus on general liability and related areas.
- Preferred experience in premises liability, transportation, personal injury, catastrophic bodily injury, and/or insurance coverage litigation.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice in North Carolina.
