We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Transaction Attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join our clients dynamic legal team. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-stakes healthcare transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, partnerships, financing, and regulatory compliance matters. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare law, strong transactional experience, and the ability to navigate the intricacies of the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the structuring, negotiation, and execution of healthcare-related M&A transactions, including due diligence, deal structuring, contract drafting, and post-transaction integration.
- Advise clients on a broad range of healthcare regulatory matters, including compliance with the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and state-specific healthcare regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of healthcare contracts, including purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, physician practice agreements, service agreements, and related transaction documents.
- Provide strategic advice to healthcare providers, investors, and other stakeholders in healthcare transactions to navigate complex legal and regulatory issues.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks associated with healthcare transactions, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring they are informed of developments in transactions and legal matters, and providing clear and concise legal advice.
- Support litigation and dispute resolution efforts as they relate to healthcare transactions, including responding to regulatory inquiries or defending against enforcement actions.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in [State(s)].
- 3-6 years of experience in healthcare transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, and regulatory compliance.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and other federal and state healthcare laws.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including healthcare providers, payers, and industry stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and practical manner.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and drafting skills.
- Experience working in a law firm or in-house legal department with a focus on healthcare transactions is preferred
