We are partnering with a leading Nutrition Company in Lancaster, South Carolina seeking an IP Paralegal to join their Legal team. In this role, you will assist the Senior IP Paralegal and the General Counsel in contract administration, brand protection and a wide variety of Intellectual Property matters.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and detect illegitimate activity concerning IP misuse
- Draft cease and desist letters for review and assist in gathering advice
- Support all IP litigation efforts - document collection, document production, discovery requests, etc.
- Assist with managing and administering their IP portfolio
- Assist in contract life-cycle management
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience with a law firm and/or in-house legal department focused on Intellectual Property matters
- Proficiency with USPTO search databases, WHOIS searches, social media platforms, and contract management platforms.
- Strong project management skills to develop and manage key processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
