Our client is the world's leading Labor and Employment law firm, with over 100 offices across the globe. They exclusively represent management in complex and high-stakes cases involving discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, and other workplace issues. They are seeking a Charges Counsel to join their remote team and handle administrative agency charges through the EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission).
Responsibilities
- Represent and advise employers in administrative agency charges
- Draft position statements and responses to requests for information from the EEOC
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various labor and employment law issues
- Meet the billable hours requirement of 1500 hours per year
Qualifications
- Must have 6+ years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on EEOC charges
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the state of residence
- Experience in representing and defending employers, not plaintiffs
- Excellent writing, communication, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
