In this role, you will:
- Collaborate closely with front office professionals, including portfolio managers and trading teams, providing legal guidance on complex M&A transactions within the Oil and Gas industry.
- Serve as a key legal resource on regulatory compliance, environmental laws, and other legal matters relevant to oil and gas operations.
- Advise senior stakeholders on existing and emerging regulations, ensuring the firm navigates the complexities of the energy market effectively.
- Lead corporate governance matters, including contract drafting and negotiation, due diligence, and integration processes.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in Oil and Gas M&A transactions, with a strong understanding of industry-specific legal frameworks.
- Proven ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making at the highest levels.
- A proactive approach to identifying legal risks and providing strategic solutions.

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 6-7+ years of relevant legal experience.
- Strong understanding of legal issues related to securities trading across various asset classes.
- Ability to convey complex legal terminology in a simplified manner.
