Our client is a growing Long-Term and Senior care multi-state network looking to build out their Legal presence in the South. This group is committed to providing high-quality housing and care solutions for seniors for over five decades. This group's mission in long-term care is driven by a passion for enhancing the lives of those they serve. We are currently seeking an Associate General Counsel to help them navigate the legal complexities of the healthcare and long-term care industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle civil litigation matters, including defense of claims and managing legal disputes for the facilities within your jurisdiction.
- Provide legal guidance on a wide range of issues related to long-term care and healthcare operations.
- Work closely with senior management to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and other legal requirements.
- Advise on risk management strategies to minimize legal exposure.
Ideal Candidate:
- 3-5 years of civil litigation experience, ideally with exposure to healthcare or long-term care matters.
- Prior experience or strong interest in the long-term care industry and healthcare law.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach to legal problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
