A leading health system with 45 hospitals across the country, is seeking an Assistant General Counsel. This role requires a seasoned labor attorney and will operate out of New Jersey. As the Assistant General Counsel, you will play a key role working closely with leadership at both the corporate and local levels.
Responsibilities:
- Lead bargaining efforts with multiple healthcare unions across several states.
- Manage outside counsel in labor arbitrations and National Labor Relations Board proceedings.
- Ensure compliance and provide strategic guidance on labor relations matters across our extensive healthcare network.
- Frequent travel to locations across the US.
Qualifications:
Required:
- D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Member in good standing of a state bar.
- Experience as the first-chair management negotiator for collective bargaining agreements.
- Proven track record in handling arbitrations and National Labor Relations Board hearings.
Preferred:
- Minimum of 8 years of legal experience in a law firm, agency, or in-house position.
- Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically with acute Hospital Care.
Salary:
- Base Salary $240K + Annual Bonus
