Title: Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney
Salary: $125,000 - $175,000
Summary: A well established and dynamic law firm is seeking a highly motivated junior-to-mid level Litigation Associate Attorney to join their New York City office. As a Litigation Associate, you will work closely with senior attorneys and have the opportunity to handle cases from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, taking depositions, and appearing in court. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, a collaborative attitude, and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients.
Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
- Manage cases from pre-litigation through trial and resolution.
- Draft and file legal pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Perform legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
- Attend and represent clients in depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Work with senior partners to develop case strategies and negotiate settlements.
Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Connecticut Bar.
- 2-5 years of experience in litigation or recent clerkship
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
