We are partnered with a recently funded early stage SaaS comapny on their Head of Legal (1st Legal hire) search. This role is fully remote, will report into the CEO, and be a key role in supporting the growth of this business.
Responsibilities
- Review and handle commercial contracts, vendor agreements, third party agreements and manage the company's supplier relationships
- Provide legal advice to senior executives across a range of matters including general corporate, privacy, employment, compliance, and IP matters
- Manage corporate matters for the business, including future funding, M&A, governance, etc.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant legal experience across the SaaS and/or Fintech space.
- Ideally a mix of law firm and in house experience, but direct law firm candidates will be considered
- Ability to work effectively with different business units to ensure company's success
- JD and active bar membership
