A global cybersecurity leader is looking to expand its legal function and hire a Senior Legal Counsel to join the team and focus on AI matters. As the first hire with this focus, this individual will play an important role in working cross functionally with various business units and senior business leaders to provide legal guidance on AI governance and AI products. This role has the ability to sit fully remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead legal advice on matters pertaining to the development of cutting edge AI technologies
- Spearhead legal support across functions throughout all stages of product development and ensure responsible and ethical use of AI tools
- Handle transactional matters involving AI matters
- Consistently stay at the forefront on technology developments within artificial intelligence practices
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years legal experience within the Technology space
- At least 2 years of legal experience focused on AI technologies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience working cross-functionally and effectively collaborating with several various business units
- JD and bar membership in one state
