One of our top clients, a leading American Bank, is seeking a dedicated Compliance Manager to join ther Fair Lending Group. This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage a specialized Compliance function, ensuring that all practices and operations meet regulatory requirements and standards. This role will be performed on a hybrid schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Oversight: Independently manage and oversee compliance within Fair Lending, providing comprehensive coverage across all legal entities and jurisdictions where we operate.
- Advanced Analysis & Reporting: Conduct deep analysis, providing actionable insights to business partners. Lead the development and implementation of Compliance programs.
- Advisory Role: Proactively advise business management on regulatory and policy changes, ensuring they stay informed and compliant.
- Problem Resolution: Lead the resolution of complex issues, handling regulatory inquiries, audits, and exams with expertise and efficiency.
- Documentation & Communication: Prepare summaries, presentations, and reports to effectively communicate the status of compliance initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Manage high-risk initiatives and escalate issues as needed. Contribute to developing and overseeing risk assessment activities.
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team development, share knowledge, and support a positive work environment through collaboration and mentorship.
Education & Experience:
- Undergraduate Degree or equivalent work experience
- 6+ in regulatory compliance, with a deep understanding of fair lending practices and compliance requirements
