What You'll Do:
- Engage in High-Stakes Deals: Work on a variety of deals, including securities offerings and M&A transactions for sophisticated public and private clients.
- Be a Trusted Advisor: Counsel clients on the intricacies of federal securities law and bank regulatory laws, helping them navigate complex legal landscapes.
- Draft Key Documents: Prepare SEC reports and M&A transaction documents, ensuring compliance and precision.
- Shape Corporate Governance: Apply your knowledge of corporate governance principles to support public companies and the banking industry.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: At least 2 years in banking and financial institutions regulatory matters and/or securities law, including M&A.
- Skills: Strong background in federal securities law, securities offerings, and bank regulatory laws. Ability to draft SEC reports and M&A documents.
- Qualifications: Superior academic credentials, strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrable client relationship skills.
- Bar Requirement: DC bar required.
