Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate managed care contracts and vendor agreements.
- Provide legal advice and support on a variety of corporate matters, including regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with company policies and objectives.
- Manage and resolve legal disputes related to managed care and vendor contracts.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the healthcare industry.
- Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
- Support the legal team in other corporate matters as needed.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- 7-12 years of legal experience, with a combination of in-house and law firm experience.
- Strong background in managed care contracts and vendor agreements.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
