Our client is a leading food manufacturer and distributor seeking to hire a mid to senior-level Corporate Paralegal. This organization is family-owned and operated and has a global reach. This person will have the opportunity to work closely with the General Counsel and Associate General Counsel, supporting various corporate matters. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to master a corporate generalist legal support skill set and wear multiple hats.
This role is fully onsite in Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and review various commercial contracts and agreements.
- Manage contract database.
- Oversee mergers and acquisitions, equity, and debt refinancing transactions
- Support entity formations and dissolutions.
- Manage paperwork for real estate transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of experience with contract administration.
- 3+ years of experience supporting corporate governance.
- Ideally paralegal experience within the food/beverage or adjacent industries.
