Overview
Global Fintech Company is looking for an Attorney coming from Private Practice to join their growing International Legal team. This individual will be collaborating and negotiating with some of the world's largest and most sophisticated financial institutions in the world, working across EMEA and APAC. This role involves supporting a variety of commercial, corporate, and fund documentation, client-facing responsibilities, and provides opportunities for upward mobility in a high-growth company.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with International Legal leadership; drafting and reviewing partnership agreements, fund marketing materials, etc.
- Draft & Review contracts and private fund documentation; negotiate distribution and placement agreements.
- Manage client relationships and gain exposure to a wide variety of products and investment schemes.
- Work with cross-functionally with internal stakeholders on regulatory, corporate, and fund investment work.
- Drive legal projects and perform ad-hoc research projects
Qualifications:
- 2-4 PQE within the Financial Services Industry; M&A, Corporate, Commercial Contracts, and other buy-side experience is a requirement.
- Qualified Solicitor in the U.K
- Exposure to or interest in funds related work - offers a direct pathway into fund formation roles over time.
- Familiarity with international-facing/cross-border legal and regulatory requirements
- Buy-side experience within the Financial Services space
