A large, public utilities and energy company is seeking a Director for their Tax team located in Newark, NJ. THis individual will be responsible for runnning a team dedicated to tax accounting, reporting, and forecasting for the business. Ideally a candidate will have some experience working in the utilities or energy space, but other highly regulated industries would be acceptable. The ideal candidate will have direct experience handling reconciliations, financial statement disclosures, and all accounting and journal entries.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in tax at a large, regulated company (energy and utilities a plus)
- Knowledge of relevant Federal and State tax laws and regulations
- Experience with managing a team and working with senior finance and business leadership
- MST and CPA a plus
