We are currently partnered with a leading Labor and Employment firm, and our client is seeking a dynamic and motivated Mid-Level Employment Litigation Associate to join its Phoenix office. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with 2+ years of experience in employment litigation to work with a collaborative team on a variety of complex matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and respond to discovery requests and initial pleadings in employment litigation matters.
- Draft and argue motions in federal and state courts.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Handle ESI (Electronically Stored Information) discovery in litigation matters.
- Assist in managing case files and complex litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Work closely with senior attorneys to develop strategies, analyze case law, and provide client-focused solutions.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on employment law, restrictive covenants, or trade secrets law preferred.
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Experience with ESI discovery.
- A proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle complex legal issues with a client-centered approach.
Required Qualifications:
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admission to the Arizona Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
- Excellent academic credentials.
