We are partnered with a national client looking to hire an Employment Litigation Associate with 2+ years of experience in their New York office. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously on employment cases and have a strong desire for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Handle multiple simultaneous cases in a range of employment practice areas.
- Manages all phases of litigation - discovery, depositions, negotiations, and trial.
- Provide legal advice and counsel on employment law matters.
- Have the ability & experience to take and defend depositions, as well as conduct administrative hearings (preferred).
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of employment litigation experience at a law firm
- J.D. from an accredited university with excellent academic credentials
- Barred in New York State, New Jersey a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Motivation to work diligently & desire for growth
