The Import/Export Compliance Manager will be responsible for:
- Collaborate with the GC/CCO to design and deliver compliance training for employees.
- Offer day-to-day compliance guidance, responding to queries and ensuring all departmental compliance policies align with corporate standards.
- Manage export licenses under EAR, ITAR, and their non-U.S. equivalents.
- Manage compliance with FAR, DFARs, and OTAs requirements.
- Draft, modify, and implement company-wide compliance policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to align with business needs. Conduct gap analyses to ensure compliance with local policies and global SOPs.
The Import/Export Compliance Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (graduate or JD degree preferred but not mandatory).
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs Regulations, EAR, BIS, and U.S. trade compliance laws.
- Experience building compliance programs from the ground up within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with GDPR and global data privacy regulations.
- Certification as a compliance professional is a plus.
