Key responsibilities
- Manage and negotiate Intricate commercial deals across different departments
- Advise on U.S. and international laws that would involve SaaS, Cybersecurity, Commercial terms, and data privacy
- In charge of drafting and negotiating Saas agreements, DPAs, and BAAs
- Work with global teams to ensure legal strategies that match the company's business goals
- Provide expertise on compliance and risk mitigation as well as overseeing any regulatory changes
Key requirements
- Law degree and 5+ years of legal experience
- Active license to practice law in any US state
- 3+ years working in SaaS, Cloud computing, and enterprise software transactions on the vendor side
- Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating
- Background in data privacy, cybersecurity, and/or intellectual property laws
