Insurance Coverage Attorney
A culture-driven and industry leading defense litigation law firm is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney in the heart of New York. You would have the opportunity to play a key role in assisting in litigation matters, helping to develop efficient resolutions, and propelling the firm's reputation even further. In addition, you would be joining an office that prioritizes promoting growth and long term career aspirations. 200 close, 190 to 185 for base. Cares less about bonus. Bonuses were very nondescript and wants more clarity.
The position will be responsible for:
- Handle all aspects of litigation matters involving insurance coverage disputes
- Analyze complex legal and factual issues
- Draft coverage opinions, coverage letters and briefings in coverage litigation disputes
- Develop efficient and effective resolution strategies
- Communicate timely and effectively with clients, and provide a high level of service
- Meet court and internal deadlines
The position should have the following qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Must be admitted to practice in the state of New York
- 1+ years of litigation experience
- Insurance coverage experience a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Federal court practice is an asset
