Our client is looking for a dedicated Labor and Employment Attorney to handle a variety of workplace issues, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience and be adept at drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Conduct administrative hearings.
- Draft workplace policies and procedures.
- Conduct employee training sessions.
- Provide day-to-day advice and counsel to employers on various employment law issues.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Michigan state bar.
- 3+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
- Strong litigation skills, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions.
- Experience taking and defending depositions.
- Experience conducting administrative hearings is a plus.
