Role
As part of the legal acquisitions team, the Real Estate Transactions Assistant/Paralegal will assist with multi-state real estate transactions, corporate administrative tasks, legal document proofreading, due diligence, and other projects as assigned. This is a hybrid role in Orange County that offers competitive pay and career progression with a high-growth, mission-driven company.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage various documents for complex real estate transactions, including agreements, leases, and deeds.
- Draft and manage additional real estate documents like escrow instructions, easements, and closing certificates.
- Assist with corporate tasks such as entity formation, obtaining EINs, and drafting governance documents.
- Conduct legal due diligence, including ordering and reviewing title reports, surveys, and insurance documents.
- Collaborate with team on daily issues and support commercial transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ YOE supporting commercial real estate transactions
- Paralegal certificate a plus, but not required
