Regional Legal Counsel, APAC - Leading Global Pharma Company, Singapore
My client is a leading and growing Global Pharma Company and we are recruiting for a Regional Counsel, APAC to be based in the Singapore office. You will be given the opportunity to support the global business on all legal related matters in the region, and we are looking for candidates who are looking to scale their career in a leading name in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Provides legal advice and support to the business and senior stakeholders
- To perform good judgement required to address legal issues/ risks & escalate to management contractual records and maintain all legal documentation
- Provides functional legal expertise, helps to develop and implement initiatives, programs and systems
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to optimize legal risk management within the functional area or legal discipline.
- Provides legal support in the commercial and legal negotiations
- Works closely with other departments and functions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent law qualification, bar-qualified
- The ideal candidate should have about 15 years of legal across MNC and law firm, ideally with diagnostics, medical device, pharmaceutical or related healthcare experience.
- A background in Global and Asia Pacific legal matters, and experience in managing a team
- Self-motivated, positive personality and being able to engage business stakeholders to provide compliance strategies
