An Innovative Clinical-stage Biotech company is looking to add a Senior Accounting Manager to their team in the D.C. / Baltimore Metro area. The company just opened a brand-new manufacturing facility this month with cutting-edge technology and are in the process of building out the accounting team. Working closely with the Controller and CFO, this role will have visibility to leadership and has a promising future for internal growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial statement close process
- Conduct SEC filings, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely filings
- Provide accounting guidance for various agreements & ovesee external auditors
- Assist the CFO, Controller, and Finance team in maintaining a successful and compliant environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/ Master's in Accounting
- Previous experience working within the Biotechnology industry
- 6-8 years accounting experience within a public company
- Ambitious attitude, eager to learn
- CPA is a plus
