Job Title: Senior EHS Attorney

Job Description:
My client, a leading Oil & Gas Refining company is seeking a highly experienced Senior EHS Attorney to join their team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of strong environmental experience in downstream oil & gas refinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on EHS matters related to downstream oil and gas refinery operations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including RMP, PMP, OSHA, EPA & Air, Water, & Waste.
- Collaborate with internal teams, incuding operations, engineering, safety, & EHS team.
- Oversee ~3 refineries & a number of pipelines.
- Represent the company in negotiations with regulatory agencies and during litigation proceedings.
- Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and the surrounding community.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes to proactively address potential legal issues.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Texas State Bar.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in EHS law, with a focus on downstream oil and gas refinery operations.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing EHS compliance and litigation in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
