We are seeking a passionate and experienced Compliance Manager to join the APAC Compliance Team. This role involves operationalizing for APAC, mitigating compliance risks, and collaborating with colleagues in other global offices. The successful candidate will become the regulatory expert for Korea and support E&C efforts in other assigned businesses and countries within APAC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the compliance program in Korea and other APAC regions, conduct risk assessments, and conduct communications on key policies and processes.
- Identify and mitigate compliance risks, review and approve high-risk transactions, and monitor compliance governance processes.
- Monitor key compliance metrics, develop action plans, and address opportunities identified from metrics, investigations, and audits.
- Act as the compliance rep and provide leadership and oversight for compliance reporting per the Korean Sunshine Act requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in ethics and compliance, law, finance, audit, or related fields.
- Fluent in Korean and English; fluency in Japanese is preferred but not required.
- Expertise in Korean Sunshine Act transparency reporting and anti-bribery principles.
- Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and collaborate with multiple functions and countries.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and MS Word.
