Company Overview:
Our client, a leading Hong Kong-based private equity firm, is seeking a Legal and Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance and fund management. The base salary for this position ranges from 50,000 HKD to 60,000 HKD.
Responsibilities:
- Manage legal and compliance aspects, focusing on regulatory adherence and fund operations.
- Develop and enforce compliance policies, conduct risk assessments, and provide legal guidance.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, liaise with authorities, and conduct employee training.
- Prepare regulatory filings and reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Legal qualification is preferred (PRC bar is fine too)
- Previous working experience in legal and compliance roles in fund management background.
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory requirements for private equity.
- Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and organizational proficiency.
- Fluent in English; Chinese proficiency is beneficial.
